It was just an appropriate option for a brief pit stop in Southend-on-Sea with value for price. The owners were very welcoming and made the stay enjoyable. Try to get a room on a lower floor if possible.

The Beaches Guest House offers a charming atmosphere with exceptionally clean rooms and a delightful breakfast. Though slightly overpriced, the welcoming staff made up for it and the view from the balcony was a lovely bonus. A few aspects could use improvement, such as the heating.

Our one-night getaway was delightful! The room featured stunning views of the coastline. The breakfast included a generous selection and was delicious, especially the Eggs Royale. Don’t miss dining at Billy Hundreds just a quick walk away for amazing seafood!

The room was super cozy with a fantastic sea view and the shower was really nice. There were lovely little touches like tea and biscuits waiting for us! We enjoyed lounging by the garden area and sipping drinks on the sun loungers, it was a perfect chill spot. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit small for a couple, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all, just a little heads up! 😊

Had such a fab time here! The hosts were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was spotless and the breakfast hit the spot, especially the vegan options they had. Only thing was the Wi-Fi was kinda slow at times, but honestly, it didn’t ruin anything. Loved the little garden too!

The towels smelled fresh too! The whole vibe was warm and inviting. The decor was tasteful. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the view.
